Spotlight Media Productions AG was founded in 2000 and has since specialized in creating engaging cinema feature films and TV formats.

Our focus on quality and innovation has paid off, with our recent film ranking among the top 10 most successful Swiss movies in history.

The three TV formats we have produced have enjoyed prime-time Sunday evening slots on SRF 1 (Swiss National Television), showcasing our commitment to captivating a wide audience.

We hold ourselves and our partners to the highest standards, underpinning our belief that exceptional entertainment and ambitious goals are perfectly compatible.

The Team

Peter Luisi

Director, Writer and Producer

Peter was born in Zurich in 1975. After studying film production at the University of California in Santa Cruz and graduating with honours, Peter made a name for himself with his seven feature films as well as co-author of Fredi Murer’s Vitus, which was shortlisted for an Oscar. The films Peter directed were awarded with the Zurich Film Prize, the audience award at the Locarno Film festival, 9 nominations for the Swiss Film Prize, as well as numerous other awards.

    David Luisi

    Producer

    Born in 1973 David started a successful career in 1997 in the Digital Communication field. Together with his brother Peter Luisi, he produced several feature films, a late-night show, a TV Series and realized countless advertisements.

      Maja Sanchez

      Producer

      Born in 1984 in Thurgau and raised at Lake Constance, Maja studied Ethnology and Film Studies at the University of Zurich. She entered the film industry as a production assistant at HesseGreutert Film in 2007 and became a production manager in 2012, working for various Swiss production companies as a freelance production manager from 2016 to 2022. Starting 2023, she joined Spotlight Media Productions successful team as a producer.
